Build A List Of Eager Subscribers
Through Email Campaigns

It’s the objective of every website and email to create satisfied customers and subscribers. You have to keep them satisfied and happy so they keep coming back for more. As a matter of fact if you can really keep them satisfied they could even recommend you and your site to others.

As traffic to your site increases, make sure you have a signup form so these potential customers can opt in to one or more of your lists. Through this opt-in list you provide a newsletter, or an ecourse, where you keep them updated on what’s going on at your site. These updates are sent out at different time intervals.

By using email as the media for your marketing and advertising you keep you costs down. Email is free. And if you can create your own advertisements, you can save a bundle there. With an opt-in subscribers list you can be quite confident that what you’re sending out is being received and read. Why? Because you’re subscribers have signed up to your list, they have agreed to receive promotional emails from you.

It’s important that you send regular emails to your subscribers and keep them updated and informed about what’s going on at your site and giving them any new information about any new products, special deals, or discounts you are offering. Remember, also, there is also a strong possibility that your emails could be forwarded by your subscribers to family and friends.

If a subscriber isn’t happy and feels he isn’t getting what he expected, he will unsubscribe. This is not necessarily a bad thing, since you only want subscribers that are interested in what you have to say or sell. Make sure you keep them satisfied through your marketing strategies and keep them coming back for more.

Here are some tips to help you build an eager list of subscribers.

  1. Keep your emails and advertisements interesting and friendly. Be creative but stay within the limits of business and build your advertising around your product or service.

  2. Do a little research and find out what people are looking for. Build your email marketing around that and provide fresh new ideas in the particular niche you choose and subscribers will be eager to hear what you have to say next.

  3. Write informative and friendly articles. Be diverse; be different. If your subscribers enjoy reading your articles chances are they’ll be clicking on those links in your article (you are including links in your article back to your sales page, aren’t you?) and you could be making some nice sales.

  4. Don’t like writing articles? Does the thought of writing articles make you nervous? Hire a professional copywriter. The cost of a copywriter will be offset by the credibility he’ll create through his articles and the loyalty he’ll instill into your subscribers, when they sign up to your lists and eventually purchase your products.

  5. Create an ebook. Give it away as a gift when subscribers sign up to your list. Include links to your sales pages or affiliate programs or both, and make sure the subject matter is pertinent to the product you are promoting. You can write manuals and guides on a variety of fascinating topics that are informative and helpful to your subscribers.

  6. Share your e-book with everyone, even other sites; but make sure that they don’t change any of your links! It’s your ebook and you want the links to go to your pages, not someone else! Again you can have this written for you if you choose, however, if you’re passionate about something, you shouldn’t have any trouble writing about it.

  7. Use e-coupons in your newsletters; give your subscribers special discounts. But do use a control number in the e-coupon to make sure it can only be used once. E-coupons and special discounts are a great way to keep subscribers coming back and looking forward to your newsletters.

If you provide a benefit in your newsletter to your subscribers, they will look forward to your emails and other offers. A newsletter that goes out once or twice a week, preferably once a week, will keep the interest of your subscriber. Too many emails from you would become annoying and you would lose subscribers. Be smart in your promotions, your emails, and the interval of the emails and you’ll have some happy campers! : )
